So here is a rundown of what I am doing this weekend .
After work I am going grocery shopping. I am meeting P at the Casual Arena and we will procure cheesy dvds and food stuffs for our home. We'll catch a cab home and then we are going to ride up to the pool for a swim. Then we will return home for a chunky steak, boringly essential nutritious salad and dvd watching in airconditioned comfort.
Tomorrow morning I will get up and make breakfast while P goes and gets the papers. Before it gets too hot I have to put the pesticide and fertiliser on our garden. It sorely needs it and I have been too busy the last few weeks to get to it. My dad is coming over for a coffee at some point in the mornning also. He is coming to town to pick up the campervan him and mum are hiring cos they are setting out on their grey nomad great western adventure on Monday. Hurrah.
In the afternoon I have to obtain a costume for P and I to wear to a party that evening. It is a spanish theme. P is going as Don Quixote and insists I go as either sancho panza or his ass. He wants to ride in on me. I have refused both of those options and intend on going as a beautiful and glamorous flamenco dancer. As is only appropriate.
Then I figure we will do some lazing around before heading over at about 5.00 to help set up for the party.
Much hilarity and good times will ensue , with the consumption of much tapas, paella, sangria and beer. We will drunkenly ride our bikes home at approx 2 or 3 in the morning (estimate pending quantity of consumption of aforementioned sangria and beer)
Sunday will be a day of fried food, strong coffee and fizzy sweet drinks for breakfast, followed by much mooching around in the aircon and watching dvds. We may venture out at sunset on our bikes to get a potato from the potato man who sells said potatos on the foreshore on weekends.
I am looking forward to it immensely , however laying it out like this makes Monday seem deceptively LESS far away than I would like.
Oh well , not being one to dwell - let's get on with it!
