Matilda

Laying in bed, after having partied out Saturday night with friends and family , I was about to drift into sweet bacardi cushioned unconsciousness when Paul turned to me and said " I love that f*$%#ing baby"
Well... how could I disagree, I too love that f*$%#ing baby. We had just had another wonderful evening in her company - as always she had charmed the pants off of everyone present and once again stolen the limelight from the former centre of attention, Aunty L-M.
Matilda has been around for less than two years, however there is no way I could even imagine her not being an integral part of my life. That little moppet can control her Uncle Paul and I with no more than a sly smile or a selectively placed giggle.
Being an aunt has brought a dimension to my life that is incomparable. I love my family with everything I have, but the visceral urge to protect and love this kid is unlike anything I have ever felt before.
I really do love that f*$%#ing baby.

i have been absent from sweaty Darwin since this beautiful girl was indeed a painted water melon on her mum's tum.
she's a rapidly growing indicator of what i'm missing!
glad you're back online. i have started a myspace (?) just because. will give you a heads up when it starts to look less like vomit on a screen.
